World's Best Dad

Hello crafters!  For the background of today's card, I ripped small pieces of masking tape and added them to a piece of black card.  When the entire piece was covered with masking tape pieces, I went over the top of it with a Black Soot Distress ink pad, then sprinkled clear embossing powder over it and heated the powder until it melted.  I cut the two cars from the Super Car die set out of Black Gloss card and attached them to the background with mounting foam.  I cut the cog border from the Assorted Tool Border die set in both black and white card, cutting two of each.  I used the white die cut as an offset shadow behind the black ones then glued them to each side of the card.  I cut the World's Best Dad sentiment in black and glued it to a white shadow backing die and added it to the middle of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4"  in size.

Have A Roaring Good Time

Hello bloggers!  I used the middle die from the Diamond Radiance Background and cut it into a piece of white card.  I added mounting foam to the back of it then added it to a piece of silver sparkle card.  I cut the Art Deco Have A Roaring Good Time sentiment out of black gloss card.  I glued it above the die cut.  I cut the car from Travel In Style die set out of black gloss card and attached it so it looked like it was coming out of the card.  I cut the plane in black gloss card and added the flag out in white.  I stamped it with Many Thanks and glued it to the top of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7 3/4" in size.

All for now, Sue x

Just Because

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by embossing a piece of white card with the Art Deco Arches embossing folder.  I needed to make to piece larger so I extended the pattern with a second emboss.  I cut a wide piece of red card and added a smaller strip of white and a smaller still piece of black card.  I glued it down the left side of the card.  I cut the Elegant Fanfare die in red and glued it to the right of the border.  Using the Art Deco Decorative Tag Duo, I cut four of them in black.  I crisscrossed three of the four and glued them together and added them to the red die cut.  I backed the last one with white card and seated it across the centre.  I cut the Art Deco Just Because in both red and black.  I shadowed it with the black die cut and glued it to the tag.  I cut the Floral Extravaganza and made a red flower.  I added it to the bottom of the border with white leaves as accents.   I completed the card with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8" in size.

I'm Here For You

Hello bloggers!  I started with a piece of white card.  I used the stamp from the Sending Sunshine stamp set and stamped it all the way around the edge of the card in black ink.  Next I inked the edges with Picked Raspberry Distress ink.  Next I went over the same area with the same stamp, but I used Clear Perfect Medium ink this time, then embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I cut the Hazel die with a piece of Antique Gold card on top of a piece of white card.  I used the white card to colour the image and then I glued the gold die cut on top.  I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Sunshine set in black and used the inner over to cut it out.  I lightly inked it with Picked Raspberry ink while it was still in the die.  I added it to the die then attached the die to the middle of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and gold mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4"  in size.

Birthday Wishes

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started with a piece of purple card.  I ran double sided tape all the way around the edges and coated it with Lilac Polished Silk Glitter.  I cut a smaller piece of white card and added it to the middle of the card.  I cut the Elegant Fanfare twice.  I nipped them apart and reassembled them into a larger square shape and glued them around the edges of the white card.  I cut two of the Decorative Tag Duos in antique gold card.  I backed both of them with purple card.  I criscrossed them in the centre of the card, the cut the Art Deco Birthday Wishes sentiment  in white and glued it across the tag.  The card was completed with white, gold and purple mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Best Wishes

Hello bloggers!  I started with a piece of Arctic Blue card and covered it with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled off the backing piece and then attached the large flower from the Floral Extravaganza, cut in white, all around the edge of the card.  I filled in the remaining sticky areas with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I cut the smaller flower in white in two pieces.  I attached them on top of the flowers so they were in the opposite orientation as the bottom flowers.  I cut the Art Deco Tag Decorative Duo in silver sparkle card and backed it in white.  I added it with mounting foam across the middle of the card.  I cut the Best Wishes sentiment from the Wordie sheets and added it with mounting foam to the tag.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  6 3/4"  in size.

You're A Real Classic

Good Sunday morning all!  I started by cutting the solid Tyre Track die eight times in black.  I glued them across the card to create the background.  Next I cut a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles.  I cut a wider white frame and added a thin black gloss frame on top.  I added mounting foam to the back of the frame and attached it to a piece of white card.  I added the frame to the background with mounting foam.  I cut the Vintage Car in tan card.  I used a thin fine lined felt marker to add in all the detail to the car.  I used a black marker to colour the tyres and added it to the inside of the frame with mounting foam.  I cut the You're A Real Classic sentiment in black and added it to a white shadow backing piece.  I added it below the frame with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

All for now, Sue x
